• Sage is a member of the mint family. It has been used for centuries to combat various health concerns including the common cold and flu.  It is an antiseptic, antimicrobial, anti-mutagenic, antibacterial, and astringent properties that help reduce throat irritation and coughing. It is great for easing throat irritation during winter when respiratory infections are common.
•  Oregano contains a wide range of antioxidants, anti-inflammatory, and anti-infectious properties that help the immune system heal the body faster.  It contains vitamins A and C, as well as other compounds that are beneficial in boosting the immune system. It helps relieve stresses on the body and stimulates the immune system to produce white blood cells, which defend the body against bacteria and viruses.
• Thyme has antiseptic and anti-viral properties as well. the anti- bacterial compounds are valuable in combating coughs. The many vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants in thyme give the immune system a boost as well.  Thyme also encourages white blood cell formation and increases the body's resistance to bacteria and viruses.
• Mullein is considered natures Mucinex.  The leaves and flowers are anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, antispasmodic, astringent, demulcent, and so on.  It reduces the formation of mucus and stimulates the expulsion of phlegm.

Studies have indicated that it can help the body respond more effectively to viral infections, making it a valuable herb during cold and flu season. Use at first signs of a cold or flu.

Steep herbal blend in boiling water for 5 minutes.

Add honey and/or lemon if desired.

Continue drinking until symptoms have subsided.
